Self Defence & Yoga Workshop

Never taken a self-defence class before or have been thinking about it?  We were inspired to create this offering after listening to our students talk about feeling vulnerable or fearful when at home or out and about alone. If this sounds familiar or if you’re simply curious then this workshop is for YOU!

Designed for complete beginners, including older adults & stiff bodies.  Join our experienced teachers in a fun, non-ego driven environment to learn some simple and practical techniques.

Our hand-picked presenters have kindness and compassion (ahimsa) at the forefront of their teaching methods. You will be kept safe and learn valuable skills that will help improve your situational awareness and confidence to defend yourself.

You’ll explore yoga and meditation techniques that will boost your confidence and help you to find your inner strength. It is there just waiting to be discovered!

The day will follow a workshop style format:

  • Yoga session to warm you up gently
  • Self-defence session for ALL abilities
  • Morning tea break and chat
  • Finishing with a relaxing guided meditation

BYO blanket & water bottle. Please wear layers for the  alternating periods of movement & stillness. Bookings are essential and we expect this one to fill fast. We hope to see you there for what promises to be a memorable, unique event!
