Happy Hips, Pelvic Floor & Core Workshop
Ever been told you need to strengthen your core or have no clue about why or how? Don’t know where your pelvic floor even is? This fun and interactive workshop will arm you with up-to-date knowledge around these commonly misunderstood areas of the body. All from a yogic perspective of course! Take what you’ve learned and apply it in any yoga, other movement-based classes or daily life.
In this session you’ll learn:
- Easy yoga practices to bring awareness to your pelvic floor
- The importance of the connection to your breath
- Common myths around pelvic floor, core strength & hip restriction
- The most up to date science behind it all
- Pathways to get further help and what you can do to help yourself

About The Presenters
Charley Hickey C-IAYT is a senior yoga teacher & certified practicing yoga therapist with a love of martial arts. She is the owner of Charleyoga and has two decades of teaching experience and over 35 years of yoga and meditation practice. Her work includes regular group and private therapy classes along with specialised workshops.
She has a special interest in yoga for chronic pain, working with older adults & those recovering from injury. Charley’s workshops are engaging, fun and interactive, combining evidence-based practices rooted in traditional yoga philosophy.
Our co-host is the lovely Heather Robbins C-IAYT who spent over 12 years in training to become a yoga therapist and teacher. She has completed additional specialised training in pelvic floor health with renowned physiotherapists from around the world. Heather is passionate about sharing this with others through her yoga teaching.
