Our foam roller workshop (Self Myofascial Release) is great for anyone that wants to actively manage bodily tension. Learn how to find tight bits so they can be released. Be quick as this one is popular & usually books out in advance!
Run by senior yoga teacher and experienced yoga therapist Charley Hickey C-IAYT. Learn how to safely and effectively use self-myofascial release (SMR) with a foam roller and massage balls. Great for getting into tight spots in the body that other techniques may have missed. Also included are gentle yoga movements, progressive muscle relaxation, meditation, and breathing practices. No experience is needed at all with beginner rollers & balls provided to use on the day and yours to keep to continue on at home. Many people own a foam roller yet aren’t sure what to do with it so it’s an opportunity to get some pointers. The day includes morning tea and also a take-home pack with notes to follow.
