As requested by our students!  We’ve taken elements from our popular 6-week Start Your Daily Meditation Habit meditation course and turned them into meditation workshops.   Part 1 is an introductory workshop we recommend (not mandatory) before attending part 2 later in the year. This will give you a well-rounded introduction to meditation and some of what it offers you. PLUS you get to take home your very own set of beautiful Mala beads.  You can can attend part 2 and come back to part 1 later if you wish, especially if you already have experience.   

The truth is with the right guidance you don’t have to spend hours meditating, going on long, expensive retreats, or subscribing to apps you never use, it’s so much easier. Let us show you how!

  • Preparing for success – finding purpose, time, place, props & routine
  • Understanding what meditation is
  • The science behind the benefits
  • Exploring different types of meditation
  • Prioritising time for self

Meditation Workshop Part 2 Covers:

  • Redefining what meditation is & practicing
  • Prana; what it is and how to balance it
  • Self-care & loving kindness practices to shift your perspective
  • Exploring mantra and how to use it.
  • Refining your personal practice
  • Expanding your understanding of energy & sense of self (prepare to have your mind blown!)

Meditation workshop run by senior yoga teacher and experienced yoga therapist Charley Hickey C-IAYT who has 35+ years experience meditating.

Please BYO yoga mat, blanket & bolster or pillow.  Afternoon tea is included!

About The Presenter

Charley Hickey C-IAYT is a senior yoga teacher & certified practicing yoga therapist. She is the owner of Charleyoga and has two decades of teaching experience and over 35 years of yoga and meditation practice. Her work includes regular group and private therapy classes along with specialised workshops. She has a special interest in yoga for chronic pain, working with older adults & those recovering from injury. Charley’s workshops are engaging, fun and interactive, combining evidence-based practices rooted in traditional yoga philosophy.
